Минулий навчальний рік, за сумісництвом Рік англійської мови в Україні для мене знаковий і незабутній.

Перемога у всеукраїнському конкурсі «Учитель року 2016», співпраця з Британською Радою в Україні, участь у проекті «Вчителі англійської мови – агенти змін», робота тренером у літніх та зимових школах професійного розвитку, участь у 2 всеукраїнських конференціях та 4 семінарах . Калейдоскоп подій, вражень і зустрічей.

В одному році вмістилися і шалений драйв, і титанічна праця і море досвіду. Мене часто питали «Ти ще жива?, «Коли ти це все встигаєш? Тобі це треба?» Я завжди відповідала «Треба», хоча, мабуть, не завжди розуміла чому. Але з часом прийшло усвідомлення того, що це дійсно Треба.

Треба вчитися і знаходити щось нове. Треба багато брати, щоб мати змогу віддати. Чим більше я маю, тим більше я можу віддати: своїй рідній дочці, своїм учням, які стали рідними в школі, своїм колегам. Я віддаю для того, щоб вони стали успішними, креативними, конкурентоспроможними, щоб хотіли вчитися не тільки в межах класу, але й самостійно, за межами школи.

В пошуках сучасних ефективних методик – мені допомогла Британська Рада. Завдяки їй я зрозуміла, що набутий досвід не повинен консервуватися в класі, а вчитель повинен ним ділитися, розвиватися і вчитися знову й знову. Саме тому, як тренер Британської Ради, я взяла участь у проекті «Вчителі англійської мови – агенти змін». Ми підготували групу вчителів, які передаватимуть знання із сучасних методик викладання іноземної мови.

Можливість застосувати на практиці методичні і наукові знання, обмінюватися досвідом з’явилися у літніх та зимових школах професійного розвитку Британської Ради. Тепер у мене є зв’язки з вчителями усієї України. Я навчилася слухати співрозмовника і знаходити спільну мову з різними людьми. Занурення в науку дали семінари та конференції. Саме тут щороку дізнаюся про новинки освіти, які використовуються відомими науковцями з різних країн світу.

Для того, щоб випробувати себе, сформувати стійкість характеру і цілеспрямованість, я взяла участь у конкурсі «Вчитель Року 2016». Були моменти коли опускалися руки, коли я думала, що вже не можу і не хочу. Тоді дивилася в очі дітей, які хочуть вчитися; відчувала їх бажання вивчити щось нове у цікавій інтерактивній формі, чула слова подяки та бачила небажання прощатися після відкритих уроків на різних етапах конкурсу і це були ті знаки, які вказували, що я на правильному шляху, це мій шлях і його потрібно пройти до кінця.

Найважчими для мене були моменти, коли я не контролювала ситуацію і не могла вплинути на неї. Техніка вимикалася в останні хвилини, сіпалося око під час проекту від перевтоми, таксист відмовлявся перевозити матеріали потрібні для уроку. І що ви думаєте мені потрібно було у складні хвилини переживань, сумнівів та тривоги? Підтримка і відчуття того, що я не самотня у своїй боротьбі. Моє керівництво, родина, друзі, колеги, підтримували мене, переживали разом зі мною, боролися за перемогу. І саме тоді, навіть таке банальне запитання «Ще жива?», «Тримайся» і кумедні смс повідомлення зі смайликами додавали сил іти далі.

І якщо мене запитають, чи пораджу я комусь взяти участь у такому конкурсі, чи справедливий він і чи вартує здоров’я – я відповім тричі ТАК! Так! Так! Це випробовування себе. Це досвід і зустріч з цікавими людьми. Це моя відповідь на виклики часу.

Чого мені не вистачає сьогодні? Можливо зануритися в мовне середовище. Це я зможу зробити у Великобританії, подорож до якої я виграла у конкурсі «Вчитель року 2016».

Зараз до мене приходить усвідомлення, що мені не вистачає знання освітніх систем сусідніх країн. Саме тому я вирішила взяти участь в україно – польському проекті «Нова українська школа». Зі мною в цьому проекті колектив моєї рідної гімназії №5.

Кажуть, щоб побудувати корабель, не потрібно знаходити кошти, купувати матеріали, креслити макет. Потрібно знайти людей і запалити в них бажання і прагнення до подорожей безкінечним морем. Тоді вони самі побудують корабель. Моє море – це моя родина, професія, друзі та рідна Україна. Бажаю всім вам знайти своє море і побудувати міцний корабель, який рухатиметься з Божою допомогою в напрямку до успіху, любові, миру і добра.
